Upon its original installation, your countertop was sanded to a particular category of finish. Typically, solid surface countertops fall under three primary finishes: matte, satin and polished. At Counter Solutions, three finishes just weren't enough to suit our customer's needs. We demanded more because you demanded more! As a result we now offer five distinct finishes. Let's begin by exploring each unique finish and find the one best suited to your everyday lifestyle:

MATTE:
If cleaning your counters with Soft Scrub or Ajax is your thing, a matte finish is for you. The matte finish will hide most minor scratches and reflects very little light allowing you the freedom to maintain your counters with the abrasive cleaner of your choice.

SATIN:
Just a hint of glow for your countertops with a warm, subtle look of light bouncing off your counters. The satin finish will hide many scratches but will reflect some of the heavier ones. This allows for slightly easier cleaning with non-abrasive cleaners like Windex or Fantastic.

SEMI-GLOSS:
A high-quality shine that is a balance of our Satin and High Gloss categories, a popular choice for many busy kitchen users.

HIGH-GLOSS:
"I love the way it looks when it's wet"
The crowned jewel of all finishes! Our high gloss gives your countertops the "wet look" without the mess or expense associated with polishing. We created this finish using the same "dust-free" sanding methods used in the matte, satin and semi-gloss finishing categories. Even the most experience industry professionals are hard-pressed to tell if we sanded or polished your countertops. Whether you want your island or the entire kitchen to catch everyone's attention, the high-gloss finish is a pleasing choice for the discriminating homeowner.

POLISHED:
For the one-of-a-kind "we never use that counter" look. If form over function is your philosophy, then let's polish!! The secret lies in the final polishing step. The result is a shine that rivals most mirrors!
